Using the body in coaching – a journey through problem and solution space
In most of the coaching, we focus on what our coachees tell us and how. We actively listen, mirror, ask questions. However, since all our experiences are also stored in our bodies, we can also use this “body intelligence” wonderfully in coaching. Working with the body can help coachees to better understand their behavior, to develop distance from their own feelings, to generate more holistic solutions or to develop new feelings about a situation. In this interactive lecture, our CologneBonn ICF colleague Nicole Dargent will show us in small sequences how we can use the body as a signal transmitter and amplifier in different phases of the coaching process and then invite us to exchange experiences.
